Financial educator and coach Patrick DeBattista is hosting his first ever public Investing Masterclass this weekend, following years of delivering financial wellbeing workshops across Malta and abroad.
The half day masterclass will take place on Saturday 17th January, with a second session scheduled for Saturday 31st January.
It runs from 9.00am to 2.00pm and is aimed at people who want to better understand how investing works in real life, particularly those who feel overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or stuck saving without seeing growth.
Built on over 20 years of experience in global finance, the session focuses on practical decision making rather than theory. Attendees will learn how to make their first investment, even with small amounts, understand different investment platforms, and build a simple long term investing system. The masterclass also includes a step by step demonstration of how to place an investment using a real platform.
DeBattista is Malta’s first full time financial coach, a CFA charterholder and Certified Public Accountant, and the founder of Finance For You. He has collaborated on financial education initiatives with organisations including the Financial Times, the CFA Institute, the Malta Financial Services Authority and the Maltese government.
Part of the proceeds from the masterclass will support the work of Hospice Malta. The event includes all materials, an interactive format, and coffee and snacks.
