The Civil Protection Department has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for the Maltese Islands ahead of tomorrow, Monday 26th January. Conditions are expected to worsen from the early hours, with winds picking up overnight and during the day, reaching Force 7 (Near Gale) at times, along with stronger gusts, rough seas, and light rainfall.

Authorities are urging the public to stay vigilant, secure loose objects, and exercise caution, particularly during the morning and daytime. Emergency services are on standby, and residents are advised to follow official updates and call 112 if needed.

Minister Byron Camilleri thanked all those involved in storm-related work so far and appealed to the public to cooperate with precautions, reminding everyone that safety comes first.
