Malta is set for a rainy and windy week, with cloudy skies, scattered showers and strengthening winds dominating the forecast over the coming days.
Sunday will be mainly cloudy, with temperatures reaching a high of 17°C and dropping to 12°C overnight. Winds will shift from west Force 4 to south-west Force 4–5, with a moderate UV index of 3.
Conditions turn windier on Monday, with isolated showers expected throughout the day. Temperatures will dip slightly, with a high of 15°C and a low of 11°C, while winds strengthen from west-north-west Force 4–5 to Force 5–6.
Tuesday brings light showers, with temperatures hovering around 16°C during the day and 12°C at night. Winds will remain noticeable, blowing west-north-west Force 5, easing slightly later in the day.
The unsettled pattern continues on Wednesday, with windy conditions and isolated showers once again on the cards. Temperatures will rise slightly to a high of 17°C, with winds strengthening later from west-south-west Force 3–4 to west Force 5–6.
Thursday looks milder but still breezy, with highs reaching 20°C and a low of 14°C. Winds will remain strong, blowing west Force 5, increasing to west-north-west Force 6, alongside isolated showers.
By Friday, conditions turn windy and partly cloudy, with temperatures settling back at around 17°C. Winds will peak at west-north-west Force 6–7, easing slightly later in the day.
The week ends on Saturday with similar conditions, windy and partly cloudy, highs of 16°C, and strong westerly winds up to Force 7, gradually easing towards the evening.
