The 48-hour singathon organised by local artist Ozzy Lino, with the support of Xjenza Malta, has come to an end, raising funds for three Maltese organisations working in the field of mental health. Held for the first time at the Esplora Planetarium Hall, the event brought together Lino and several local artists in a powerful show of resilience, hope and awareness.
The initiative was organised in aid of the Richmond Foundation, Caritas, and the Mental Health Association Gozo. Addressing attendees, Xjenza Malta CEO Silvio Scerri reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting mental health awareness, praising Lino’s dedication and endurance throughout the 48-hour performance that helped make the event a success.
Xjenza Malta thanked all contributors for their support, with Scerri noting the emotional impact of the collective effort to help break the stigma surrounding mental health. Lino also expressed gratitude for the continued backing of the organisation and its leadership, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving meaningful change.
