Maltese financial coach Patrick DeBattista will be hosting another edition of his Investing Masterclass on Saturday 25th April, with an additional session scheduled for 6th June, following continued demand from previous attendees.
The half-day session will take place at Salini Resort between 9.30am and 1pm, and is designed for individuals seeking a practical understanding of investing.
A practical approach to investing
The masterclass focuses on helping participants move beyond theoretical knowledge and take actionable steps in managing their finances. It is aimed at individuals who may feel uncertain about where to begin, or who have been saving without clear investment strategies.
Participants will be guided through:
- How to make an initial investment, including with smaller amounts
- An overview of available investment platforms and how to use them
- Building a diversified, long-term investment approach
- Developing consistent and sustainable investing habits
The session also includes a live demonstration of placing an investment using a real platform, offering attendees a clear view of the process.
Since its launch in June 2025, the Investing Masterclass has attracted over 500 professionals across multiple sessions. The most recent event in March 2026 reached close to 90 participants and was fully booked.
Patrick DeBattista is Malta’s first full-time financial coach. He is a CFA charterholder and Certified Public Accountant, and the founder of a financial education platform with over 30,000 followers.
His work focuses on making financial education accessible and practical. He has collaborated with organisations including the Financial Times, CFA Institute, and the Malta Financial Services Authority.
