Jason Micallef has announced that a new phase of the regeneration project at Ta’ Qali National Park has officially been completed, with another public space now opening for visitors.
Sharing the update online, Micallef described the project as “the biggest regeneration of Ta’ Qali we’ve ever done”.
“This week we will give a new space which we built for the use of the public,” he wrote.
The regeneration project at Ta’ Qali has gradually transformed large sections of the area into greener recreational spaces aimed at families, walkers, cyclists and the wider public.
Recent years have seen new landscaping, pathways, open areas and facilities added across the national park as part of wider redevelopment works.
The newly completed section is expected to open to the public this week.
