Il-Ħaġar museum in Gozo is organising a public talk on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the way it significantly transformed the way people live.
During the session, Professor Alexiei Dingli will explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its main applications and its growing impact on society.
He is expected to discuss key areas including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, supported by real-world examples and case studies.
The public talk will be taking place this 23rd May at 11am, as part of the final event in a busy season at Il-Ħaġar.
The talk will also examine both the opportunities and challenges associated with AI, including its potential to drive economic growth and innovation, as well as wider questions surrounding ethics, accountability, and the future of work.
Organisers said the event is aimed at both technology enthusiasts and members of the public interested in understanding the technologies shaping everyday life.
Admission is free of charge, although seat reservations are recommended. Those interested can reserve a place by emailing [email protected].
