A new exhibition celebrating Malta’s artistic heritage through postage stamps has opened at Gozo’s Il-Ħaġar Museum, coinciding with the major retrospective of renowned Maltese artist Joseph Briffa.
Organised by the Gozo Philatelic Society, the display on Level -1 features a selection of Malta’s art-themed stamp sets. The highlight is the only stamp set ever designed by Joseph Briffa, alongside a dozen others created by contemporary Maltese artists.
The exhibition is free to visit at Il-Ħaġar Museum in Victoria’s Pjazza San Ġorġ and is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Visitors can also explore the museum’s other exhibitions, including the ongoing Joseph Briffa retrospective.
