A 64-year-old man from Mosta, lost his life after falling approximately four floors into a shaft.

The incident occurred around 3.00pm at a private residence on Triq il-Ħarifa, Mosta.

A medical team was called to the scene to provide assistance, but unfortunately, the man was certified dead on site.

Magistrate Dr Franco Agius LL.D was informed of the case and appointed an inquest, while police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
