A red vintage bus, commonly known as “Tallinja” ended up in parked vehicles in Sliema on Friday afternoon after the driver reportedly fell ill at the wheel.

Police confirmed to Lovin Malta that no one was injured, and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident happened at around 12.30pm on Tower Road, near Qui-si-sana.

The bus, heading toward St Julian’s, veered across the opposite lane and crashed into a motorbike parked along the side, which ended up trapped underneath the bus.
