A mixed and unsettled week lies ahead, with variable cloud cover, strong winds at times and several chances of rain before conditions gradually improve early next week.
Tomorrow, wind is set to reach Force 8 reducing to Force 5-6 as the day goes by.
Thursday 29th January: A windier day with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will drop slightly, with a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C. Strong westerly winds are expected, easing slightly later in the day.
Friday 30th January: Showery conditions are forecast, with highs of 16°C and lows of 11°C. Winds will strengthen from the west-northwest as the day progresses. UV levels remain low.
Saturday 31st January: Windy conditions continue, accompanied by further showers. Temperatures remain stable, with a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C. Winds will freshen from the northwest.
Sunday 1st February: The coolest day of the period, with a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C. Windy conditions persist, with isolated showers expected at times.
Monday 2nd February: A return to more settled weather, with partly cloudy skies and lighter winds. Temperatures rise slightly, reaching a high of 16°C and a low of 12°C.
Tuesday 3rd February: Fair weather is expected, with plenty of brightness and milder temperatures. Highs will reach 19°C, with overnight lows of 14°C. UV levels increase slightly.
Overall, the latter part of the week will be dominated by wind and showers, particularly over the weekend, before drier and milder conditions return by the start of next week.
