SiGMA World is heading back to Rome from 02–05 November, bringing its flagship global event to Fiera Roma for its biggest edition yet. With more than 30,000 delegates expected to attend, the 2026 summit will bring together gaming, technology, finance and affiliate marketing communities on a scale that reflects the continued expansion of the SiGMA ecosystem.

The event will span nine dedicated halls, with more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors and over 550 speakers contributing to a programme built around regulation, technology, investment, innovation and business. The larger footprint also reflects a significant development for the group, with SiGMA World, AIBC, FX World and AGS coming together under one roof for the Rome edition.

The strength of its institutional presence matches the scale of the event. Sixty-five regulators and representatives of regulatory authorities from different continents are expected to attend, placing regulatory dialogue firmly at the heart of the summit. Under the 2026 theme, “Advancing Regulated Gaming”, Rome will provide a platform for regulators, operators, technology companies and other stakeholders to examine how the sector can develop while maintaining strong standards around compliance, responsibility and player protection.

The significance of that conversation was already evident at the previous Rome edition, where H.E. Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, delivered the opening keynote. In the documentary teaser, Metsola reflects on the importance of responsible gaming and the relationship between regulation, trust and innovation.

“The work we are doing now with respect to responsible gaming is about trust. It is about protecting the user and doing the right thing in business.”

Her message captures one of the central themes running through SiGMA’s presence in Rome: that the future of the industry depends not only on commercial growth, but on meaningful engagement between the businesses shaping the sector and the institutions responsible for overseeing it.

SiGMA Founder Eman Pulis also features in the documentary, highlighting the role the summit can play in bringing different sides of the industry together. Speaking about the wider European market, Pulis points to the need for greater cooperation and a stronger dialogue between business and regulation.

His message is clear: SiGMA wants to create an environment, “so the business community and regulators can come together so the industry can grow sustainably.”

That spirit of connection will extend across the event floor in November, where the four SiGMA brands will converge to create a broader meeting point for established industries and emerging sectors. From gaming and affiliate marketing to artificial intelligence, blockchain and financial markets, the programme is designed to reflect the increasingly interconnected nature of the global digital economy.

With Rome set to welcome tens of thousands of delegates from around the world, the 2026 edition marks another step forward for SiGMA World and its international event portfolio.

The full documentary will be released in the coming days, offering a closer look at the people, ideas and ambitions behind SiGMA’s growing presence in Rome.
