Top-level women’s football is coming to Malta early next year, with Inter Women set to hold a training camp on the island from 3rd to 7th January.
The Nerazzurre will be using the winter break to stay match-ready ahead of their return to competitive action, with training sessions taking place at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in Paola.
While they’re here, Inter Women will also play a friendly match against Hibernians FC, one of Malta’s top-flight teams.
The match is scheduled for Tuesday 6th January at 7.00pm, also at Tony Bezzina Stadium, giving local fans a rare chance to watch elite European women’s football up close.
The camp will focus on sharpening fitness levels, maintaining match rhythm, and fine-tuning on-field chemistry ahead of a big return to action. Inter Women’s first competitive match after the break will see them take on Juventus at home on the weekend of 17th-18th January.
Big names, big football, and a big boost for women’s football in Malta.
