OASI Foundation wrapped up the year on a powerful and positive note with the fourth edition of Jump for Life, held on 28th December in Xlendi.
The annual event brought people together to raise awareness about recovery and addiction, while promoting a message of hope, connection and substance-free living.
What began as a simple idea back in 2019, inspired by one of the foundation’s clients, has grown into a meaningful tradition focused on celebrating life through healthy activities and community spirit.
Held on a bright December morning, this year’s event featured a range of outdoor activities designed to encourage wellbeing and togetherness.
A scenic hike drew 23 participants, while 15 people took to the sea for a kayaking session, enjoying both the views and the shared experience. Big Brother Malta’s Josline also joined in on the day, showing her support for the initiative and its message of recovery and positivity.
The highlight of the day was the much-anticipated Jump in the Sea, which saw an impressive 44 participants take the plunge. The moment captured the true spirit of the event, filled with energy, courage and a strong sense of unity.
Organisers and participants alike described the day as uplifting and meaningful, with Jump for Life continuing to shine a light on the importance of recovery, healthy choices and celebrating life without substances.
As the year draws to a close, the OASI Foundation extended its wishes for a happy and healthy New Year, encouraging everyone to move forward with positivity, purpose and care for themselves and others.
